My husband gave me the large size jerky gun for Christmas, and I am very happy with it. We both hunt, so we had lots of venison and elk burger in the freezer to use. So far I have used 20 lbs of meat and the jerky and snack sticks will make great gifts. I did pepper the meat after it was in the cookie sheets to add a bit more spice. The mesquite and hickory I didn't care for as well as the hot and original.
